Carolina Red BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
5# Chandler’s ‘Make Your Own Pulled Pork’
4 Cups Cider Vinegar
2 Cups Ketchup
3/4 Cups Brown Sugar
3 Tablespoons Worcestershire Sauce
1 Tablespoons Salt
1 Teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
1 Teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
2 Teaspoons Granulated Garlic
1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
2 Tablespoons Dried Chopped Onion
Procedure
For Pork: Using a Convection Oven, place the thawed Pulled Pork in a Hotel Pan and cover. Cook in a preheated 350F oven for 20 minutes; stir and put back in oven and cook for another 10 minutes until internal temperature reaches 165F.
For Sauce: In a large mixing bowl add all ingredients and mix until incorporated. Transfer to a sauce pan, and cook until sauce reaches 175F. Remove from heat and serve with Pulled Pork
