Asian BBQ Sauce
Ingredients
1 Each White Onion-Chopped
1/4 Cup Vegetable Oil
1/4 Cup Chopped Fresh Lemongrass
1/4 Cup Chopped Fresh Garlic
1/4 Cup Freshly Grated Ginger
2 Cups Oyster Sauce
1 Cup Light Soy Sauce
1/4 Cup Rice Wine Vinegar
1 Cup Water
1/2 Cup Sugar
1/4 Cup Garlic Chili Sauce
1 Teaspoon Ground White Pepper
Procedure
For Sauce: In a saucepan, add oil and onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes. Add garlic, lemongrass, and ginger and cook for 2 minutes. Add remaining ingredients and cook until internal temperature reaches 170F. Remove from Heat.
For Pork: Place Pork in Hotel Pan. Pour Sauce over pork and cook in a preheated oven until internal temperature reached 165F.
