Reuben Que (BBQ Reuben Sandwich)
Ingredients
4 oz. Chandler pulled pork
2 slices of Jewish Rye bread (can use pumpernickel, marble rye or other bread if you like)
1 Tbsp. 1000 island dressing
2 slices Swiss cheese
1 oz. sauerkraut (can substitute creamy slaw or BBQ slaw if you like)
Butter
Procedure
- Spread some butter on one side of each piece of bread
- place bread, butter side down on griddle
- add a slice of cheese to each piece of bread
- add dressing to one piece of bread
- heat sauerkraut and add it to dressing
- heat pork, place on top of sauerkraut
- top with remaining slice of bread
- slice and serve with your favorite sandwich accompaniments
